Paddleboarding — Nehalem North Fork From $165 · 2.5 hours Our Paddleboarding experience on the Nehalem North Fork offers a calm, scenic alternative to ocean surf—ideal for balance, exploration, and connection in a peaceful river setting. This experience takes place on flat, slow-moving water surrounded by forested canyon walls, making it one of the most beginner-friendly paddle locations on the North Oregon Coast. Sessions are relaxed and tailored to your group. We begin with a land-based introduction covering balance, paddle technique, safety, and river awareness, then move onto the water for a guided paddle. Standing, kneeling, or sitting are all welcome—the focus is comfort, confidence, and enjoyment. Cancellation Policy
At SurfLife, we understand that plans can change, and we strive to offer flexibility for our clients. You will receive a full refund for any cancellation made more than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. If you need to cancel within 12 hours of your lesson, we are unable to offer a full refund, but we may offer a partial refund. You can reschedule for a later date with no additional fees. To cancel or reschedule, please contact us directly at least 24 hours in advance. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to helping you catch your first wave at Short Sands Beach, Oregon! Liability Waiver Requirement All participants are required to review and sign SurfLife Surf School’s electronic liability waiver prior to participating in any surf lesson or activity. The waiver outlines inherent risks associated with ocean activities, including surfing in cold water conditions, and confirms participant responsibility and acknowledgment of these risks.
