Service Description
Team-Building Surf Events — $1,000–$2,500 per event (5–10 people · 2.5–3 hours) Our Team-Building Surf Events turn traditional off-sites into a meaningful, ocean-based experience on the North Oregon Coast. Designed for teams, small businesses, leadership groups, and organizations, this program replaces conference rooms with real-world challenge—building trust, communication, and connection through shared effort in cold-water surf. Surfing is a natural team builder. It requires awareness, adaptability, patience, and support. Participants are guided through a structured experience that blends surf instruction, ocean awareness, and group challenges designed to strengthen collaboration and confidence. No prior surf experience is required. Everything is paced to meet the group where they are. This protected cove offers consistent conditions suitable for group learning. Sessions are scheduled based on swell, tide, wind, and safety. Requirements • Basic swimming ability required • No prior surf experience necessary • Moderate physical activity expected (breaks encouraged) Why SurfLife SurfLife is a locally owned surf school rooted in cold-water surf culture. Cancellation Policy
At SurfLife, we understand that plans can change, and we strive to offer flexibility for our clients. You will receive a full refund for any cancellation made more than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. If you need to cancel within 12 hours of your lesson, we are unable to offer a full refund, but we may offer a partial refund. You can reschedule for a later date with no additional fees. To cancel or reschedule, please contact us directly at least 24 hours in advance. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to helping you catch your first wave at Short Sands Beach, Oregon! Liability Waiver Requirement All participants are required to review and sign SurfLife Surf School’s electronic liability waiver prior to participating in any surf lesson or activity. The waiver outlines inherent risks associated with ocean activities, including surfing in cold water conditions, and confirms participant responsibility and acknowledgment of these risks.
